Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Previous experience in a school, pediatric, or community health setting preferred
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Able to respond calmly and effectively in emergency situations
• Knowledge of health regulations, individualized care plans (IEPs/504s), and medication administration
• Up-to-date CPR certification

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct nursing care to students and staff, including first aid, chronic condition management, and medication administration
• Support individualized health plans for students with specific needs
• Maintain accurate health records, documentation, and reports
• Educate students and staff on health and wellness topics
• Collaborate with school personnel, families, and outside health providers as needed
• Monitor for contagious diseases and contribute to a healthy school environment
• Adhere to policies and regulations while maintaining confidentiality
