We are hiring a motivated and mechanically inclined individual to join our team.Specific responsibilities include:Install home appliancesAccurately diagnose and repair appliances in the customer's homeProvide cost estimates for repairs/installations and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performedEnsure the efficient use of materials and keep company vehicle and equipment properly servicedPerform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positionsJob requirements include:High school graduate or equivalentValid Driver's License with a clean recordMust be at least 21 years of ageProficiency to navigate tablet-based technologyThe ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis, and up to 100 pounds on an occasional basis without assistance and the physical ability to perform strenuous work under varied circumstancesFlexible and variable hours (no weekends)This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to turn mechanical ability into a high-income career. Our technicians run a steady schedule of service calls daily, providing strong and consistent earning potential. After training: most technicians earn $25 to $35 per hour equivalent. Company vehicle provided after training. Steady year-round work.Physical demands include standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, talking, and hearing. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Compensation: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year.As an appliance repair technician, you'll work with anything from dishwashers to microwaves to dryers. You'll need to be fairly knowledgeable about large appliances, portable appliances, mechanical work, as well as electrical work. You'll deal with more than just appliances, though, as a repair technician, you'll have to deal with people, too.Appliance repair technicians must also have skills in high mechanical aptitude, have impeccable written and verbal communication skills, work adeptly with repair tools, be okay with lifting heavy machinery, and of course, be incredibly skilled in troubleshooting problems.Are you prepared to start your journey toward becoming an appliance technician?This business is independently owned and operated.
