Behavioral Health Assistant Nurse Manager - Nights

BayCare Health Systems is currently seeking an experienced Night Shift Assistant Nurse Manager to join our outstanding and compassionate team at North Bay Recovery Center in Lutz!

Morton Plant North Bay Hospital Recovery Center, part of BayCare Health System, is a facility that provides nursing care to children, adolescents and adults. It includes a 72-bed inpatient psychiatric unit for 42 beds for adults and 25 pediatric beds for children. Our unit offers 24-hour nursing care for adults dealing with behavioral disorders and addictions. Our experienced team is comprised of psychiatrists, social workers, registered nurses, case managers and mental health technicians. Morton Plant North Bay Hospital Recovery Center is the only freestanding Baker Act-receiving private psychiatric hospital in Pasco County.

• Shift Hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

• Weekend Work: Every Other

• On Call: Yes

The Assistant Nurse Manager:

• Is proficient in the care of a patient population utilizing effective management skills.

• Is responsible for supporting the Nurse Manager in a supervisory capacity while managing team member and patient care issues, ongoing team member performance appraisal and the hiring , counseling and terminating process.

• Acts as a role model for other team members and the communication of organizational information.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Certifications and Licensures:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• RN (Registered Nurse)

• Nurse Specialty - preferred

Required Educati on:

• Bachelor's in Nursing

Experience:

• 2 year RN in an Acute, Post-Acute, or Sub-Acute Setting

• 1 year leadership experience
