Job Title: PCU RN for Float Pool Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Progressive Care Unit Duration: TBD Shift: TBD Hours per Shift: TBD Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar-sized facility License: RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Experience with cardiac population - Ability to manage cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors - Proficient in navigating EPIC EMR - Willingness to float to all PCU/IMCU floors Description: This position requires a Registered Nurse for the Float Pool in a progressive care setting. The nurse will care for a patient population that includes STEMI, NSTEMI, and chest pain cases. The nurse will float to various PCU/IMCU floors as needed. The nurse may also be assigned to telemetry beds with lower acuity levels. The nurse-to-patient ratio will be 1:3-4. Candidates must possess a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar-sized facility. BLS and ACLS certifications are required. Familiarity with cardiac drips is essential. Candidates should have flexibility for minimal requests for time off. EPIC EMR experience is preferred.
