Commercial Hvac Refrigeration & Cooking Equipment Apprentice TechnicianPosition at P&D Appliance Commercial Parts and Service Commercial HVAC Refrigeration & Cooking Equipment Apprentice Technician South San Francisco, CA Hourly rates from: $20-25/hourOverview Commercial Appliance is hiring Commercial HVAC Refrigeration & Cooking Equipment Technicians responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing commercial cooking & refrigeration equipment at our customer locations. Our Technicians also provide preventative maintenance (PM) inspections and respond to emergency service calls on equipment including ovens, fryers, steamers, warmers, dish cleaning equipment, walk-ins, and ice machines.Responsibilities:Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Commercial Cooking, Refrigeration, HVAC and Warewashing EquipmentTreat customers and employees with respect, courtesy and professionalismProvide excellent customer service by meeting customer expectations on every service call.Complete service calls in a timely mannerIncreasing our customer base by providing solutions for equipment problems and promoting company programsCommunicate effectively with customers, manager, dispatcher, and salesParticipate in a rotation of after-hours and weekend on-call scheduleIdentify new customers and additional opportunities within existing accountsMaintain service vehicleOrder parts and complete required paperworkAttend training sessionsOther duties as assignedQualifications:Previous experience cooking, refrigeration, or HVAC equipment service (or related military) experienceEPA Universal licenseStrong electrical, electronic, and mechanical skillsExtremely strong customer communication skills100% dedication to working hard, being on time, and staying organizedMaintain a good personal appearancePass Drug Screen and Background CheckMaintain a Valid Driver License with a good driving recordBenefits of Joining Our Team:Competitive Hourly Rates and Overtime PayCompany VehicleCompany Cell Phone/TabletMedical and Dental BenefitsLife InsurancePTO401k & Company MatchTechnical TrainingAbout P&D Appliance: Since 1946, P&D Appliance has been a trusted partner for restaurants, hotels, hospitals, and more throughout the Bay Area and Northern California.
