Junior Art Director

We’re looking for a curious, design-driven Junior Art Director to join our Creative team in Plano. You’ll help develop ideas and bring them to life across shopper marketing, retail, and experiential programs for nationally recognized brands. This is a hands‑on role for a recent graduate or early‑career creative who wants to build strong concepting and design skills while learning how agency work moves from brief to final production.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

Develop creative concepts and design solutions rooted in the brief, brand strategy, and target audience Create work across shopper marketing, retail, experiential, digital, and presentation touchpoints Apply strong design fundamentals, including typography, layout, composition, and color Partner with writers and cross‑functional teams to generate ideas and develop the work Explore multiple creative approaches and push beyond the first or most obvious solution Translate approved concepts into polished creative and adapt work across formats, retailers, and channels Support production‑based assignments and internal agency projects as needed Present creative rationale, incorporate feedback, and communicate openly about project status

WHAT YOU BRING

Required: 0-2 years of experience in graphic design, art direction, or a related creative role, including internships Portfolio demonstrating strong design fundamentals, thoughtful creative choices, and conceptual potential Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite on Mac: Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint Degree in graphic design, visual communication, or a related field, or equivalent creative training and experience Strong attention to detail, clear communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple assignments Openness to feedback, a collaborative attitude, and a sincere interest in growing Nice to Have: Experience using AI image‑generation or design tools as part of the creative process Familiarity with shopper marketing, retail, or experiential design Internship, freelance, or agency experience

WHAT TO EXPECT

You’ll work fully on‑site in Plano alongside collaborative Creative and Production teams. This role reports to the GM of Creative & Production and works closely with Art Directors, Creative Directors, writers, account teams, and production specialists. As a junior creative, you’ll work across the full process. Some days that means concepting and design. Other days it means adapting layouts or preparing production‑ready files. As your craft, confidence, and ownership grow, so will your responsibility.
