Behavioral Health Registered Nurse - Adolescent Female Unit
This is a 13-week contract position.
Night shift 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30). Every other weekend required.
We are seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Registered Nurse to work in an adolescent female unit. The nurse will provide crisis stabilization, medication management, and participate in group therapeutic activities.
Deliver quality patient care in a psychiatric setting.
Manage medication administration and monitor patient progress.
Participate in crisis intervention and group therapy sessions.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members such as pharmacists, social workers, and occupational therapists.
Provide support for patients with various diagnoses including PTSD, suicidal ideation, and general anxiety.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, preferably in a behavioral health or psychiatric setting.
Current RN license required.
BCLS certification is necessary.
Charge experience preferred.
Experience with Allscripts (Sunrise) EMR is preferred.
