Field Service Technician I - Staten Island Area

About the Role We’re actively seeking a Field Service Technician to deliver amazing experiences and elevated efficiency within the routine maintenance of Canon-supported products in accordance with Service and Parts Standards. Your Impact Report product failure trends and serviceability issues to your manager with necessary documentation, ensuring accurate information and record keeping. Meet customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on‑site maintenance. Maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned. Showcase strong customer communication and satisfaction skills. Maintain the performance of assigned machines. Facilitate performance at a level which helps to achieve the branch/district’s overall metric targets. About You: The Skills & Expertise You Bring Hold a High School diploma or equivalent experience. Possess a basic understanding of internet environments and the ability to successfully complete the 120‑day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new‑hire class. Have a valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record to travel. Take all necessary steps to obtain security and/or other clearances required by customers to enter customers’ premises. Be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50 percent of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling). Comply with customer policies and protocols, including COVID‑19 vaccination and related measures, as required. Compensation Base salary range: $19.00-26.31 hourly. This role is eligible for a transportation allowance. Workstyle Description Full‑time on‑site. This position requires full‑time presence at your assigned office(s)/worksite(s)/territory on your scheduled work days.
