$34 an hour (all inclusive)

Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence , the Wound Care Nurse provides skilled clinical care, assessment, and treatment of wounds while supporting interdisciplinary care planning and ensuring compliance with clinical standards.

Responsibilities for Wound Care Nurse:

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable nursing standards, physician orders, and established care plans.

• Demonstrate sound clinical judgment in assessing, treating, and monitoring wounds.

• Provide wound care treatments based on resident needs and best clinical practices.

• Deliver respectful, compassionate, and person-centered care to residents, families, and caregivers.

• Provide clinical guidance and direction to members of the nursing and care team.

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of wound assessments, treatments, and outcomes.

• Ensure resident confidentiality is maintained at all times in accordance with HIPAA and facility policies.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support healing, prevention strategies, and continuity of care.

Qualifications for Wound Care Nurse:

• Must possess a current, unencumbered, active LPN or RN license in the state of PA .

• Wound Care Certification strongly preferred but not required.

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• Minimum of 2 years of prior experience as a Wound Care Nurse in a nursing home or long-term care setting required.

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
