Equipment OperatorLocation: Prudhoe Bay, AK, 99734Duration: 12+ MonthsPay rate: $26.00/hr – $29.00 without benefitsShift: 3 weeks on X 3 weeks off, 12+ hours daily variesSummary:Rig up and rig down cementing service equipment at work locations.Learn basic oil well operations and the associated hazards.Assist with pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete associated documentation as well as other documentation, and forms as required.Operate and maintain cementing equipment.Maintain a high standard of safety and environmental awareness by complying with all applicable HSE procedures and standards.Verify proper valve alignment on bulk systems and surface manifold equipmentUnderstand and follow procedures for handling hazardous materials, job site cleanup, and dischargePromote safety awareness and environmental responsibility in all work activitiesEnsure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations and company policiesActively participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and operational performanceEquipment Operator Job Qualifications:Possession of a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or ability to obtain one.Clean driving record.Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbsStrong verbal and written communication skills for effective teamwork and coordinationAbility to pass background checks, physical exams, and drug screeningCompetent in following routine oral and written instructionsProficient in basic mathematical calculations relevant to field operationsWillingness to work a flexible schedule, including long shifts, irregular hours, and on-call availability with short noticeComfortable working in extreme weather conditions and remote field environmentsThe Equipment Operator is responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and reliable PSD to customers. The Equipment Operator identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, and assists field and maintenance crews with preparing equipment for operations. Ensure job deliverables are accurate and delivered on time. Participate in pre-job and Toolbox meetings with crew members. Maintain good, safe working order of equipment according to standards, reporting problems or deviations. Ensure individual and crew work safety. Prepare equipment for rig up and rig down times. Operate the equipment according to competency level and job requirement. Wear PPE and observe HSE policies. Maintain the required safety training.
