FOOD SERVICE WORKER (PART TIME)

Job Overview We are hiring immediately for part‑time FOOD SERVICE WORKER positions at Chartwells K12. The position is located at 801 West Essex Avenue, Saint Louis, MO 63122. Online applications are accepted only. Pay Range: $15.75 per hour to $16.75 per hour. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM. No nights, weekends, or holidays. Internal employee referral bonus is available. Responsibilities Perform prep work such as washing, peeling, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables. Weigh and measure designated ingredients. Carry pans, kettles, and trays of food to and from work stations, stove, and refrigerator in accordance with safety standards. Store food in designated areas following wrapping, dating, food safety, and rotation procedures. Clean work areas, equipment, and utensils. Distribute supplies, utensils, and portable equipment. Utilize approved food recipes and production standards to ensure proper quality, serving temperatures, and standard portion control. Serve customers in a friendly, efficient manner following outlined steps of service. Resolve customer concerns and relay relevant information to supervisor. Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures. Assure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Previous kitchen experience is required. Ability to perform the essential functions of this position satisfactorily with or without a reasonable accommodation.
