Director of Nursing (DON) – RN

The Springs at Rochester Hills is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team and help us continue delivering exceptional care to our residents.

What You’ll Do

• -Provide leadership and direction to the nursing department

• -Ensure residents receive high-quality, compassionate care

• -Recruit, develop, and support nursing leadership and frontline staff

• -Maintain compliance with federal, state, and facility requirements

• -Oversee clinical systems, staffing practices, and quality initiatives

• -Partner with the Administrator and interdisciplinary team to improve outcomes

• -Promote accountability, teamwork, and a positive workplace culture

• -Support survey readiness and participate in performance-improvement efforts

Required Qualifications

• -Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in the State of Michigan

• -At least two years of nursing leadership experience in a skilled nursing facility

• -Strong knowledge of long-term care regulations and clinical standards

• -Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop a nursing team

• -Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

• -Commitment to resident-centered care and employee engagement
