Requirements Candidates must be BC/BE via the American Board of Emergency Medicine ABEM or American Osteopathic Board of Emergency Medicine AOBEM. ABPS EM boarded candidates are welcome! There are additional opportunities to work at the main campus. This is a NIGHTS only position.ATLS ACLS and PALS required Emergency Department 8500 Anticipated ER visits year 1 approximately 23 visits per dayFully integrated with Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center24 hours of Physician Coverage. 7 am and 7 pm shift change. We will consistently look at flow and make coverage adjustments/increases as necessaryFully equipped Trauma baySeparate adult and pediatric waiting area11 private treatment roomsAmbulance bay for EMS accessPatients needing to be admitted to an inpatient bed will be transported to the main campus with seamless care handoff to our excellent intensivists hospitalists and specialistsGeneral Comments Spotsylvania Regional Medical Center is a Joint Commission accredited medical/surgical hospital located in Fredericksburg Virginia.
