We are on the Magnet journey, and we were just awarded a 5-star rating for quality, safe care from the Centers of Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).Under the general supervision of Manager of Employee Health Office, the Employee Health Nurse conducts pre-employment and annual employee physicals, assists in the processing of claims for work-related injuries and coordinates any necessary treatment, interacts with third-party administrator (TPA) and provides required assistance with investigation and documentation. The Employee Health Nurse also assists with the coordination of the Transitional Work Program, interfaces with the Employee Assistance Program to ensure maximum utilization by employees. The Employee Health Nurse is the lead coordinator of the flu vaccination and fit test programs.Providence caregivers are not simply valued – they're invaluable.
