Prostar On-Site Supervisor
Location: Client Site – Budd Lake, NJ
Employment Type: Full-Time; NOT REMOTE
Compensation: $41,600 – $56,160 annually
The On-Site Supervisor oversees day-to-day staffing operations at a client site, ensuring excellent service, strong employee performance, and high client satisfaction. This role manages Proman Staffing employees on-site, serves as the primary point of contact for the client, and supports workforce planning, employee relations, compliance, and operational efficiency.
This position is an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution experience who are seeking a career change and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities- Manage daily on-site operations and employee performance
- Maintain strong client relationships and address workforce needs
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, payroll procedures, attendance policies, and company guidelines
- Conduct employee onboarding, orientation, coaching, disciplinary actions, and documentation
- Monitor timekeeping systems, approve time tickets, and support payroll processing
- Control operational costs, including overtime, workers’ compensation, PPE, and related expenses
- Coordinate with branch leadership on recruiting and staffing efforts
- High School Diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 1–2 years of supervisory experience (staffing, warehouse, manufacturing, or customer service preferred)
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with timekeeping systems preferred
- Comfortable working in manufacturing or distribution environments
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and travel throughout the facility
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus
