Overview
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team in Appleton, WI, 54911. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the smooth operation of our facility by performing routine maintenance and repairs. If you have a knack for fixing things and enjoy working in a dynamic environment, we want to hear from you!
1st, 2nd and 3rd shifts available!
Responsibilities- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to identify issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
- Assist with the installation of new equipment and systems as needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or degree in a related field is a plus.
- Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if necessary.
