Now Hiring: Custodian/Housekeeping

Location: The Children's Home of Reading | Reading, PA 19606

Pay: $15.00 per hour

Job Type: Full-time

Shift: 1st Shift (6:00am- 2:00pm) or 2nd Shift (3:00pm-11:00pm)

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday or Tuesday - Saturday

Position Primary Duties:

Duties include but are not limited to general grounds clean-up and light snow and ice removal from property. Cleaning floors, restrooms, and windows in designated areas. Assisting in the on-site Laundry facilities. Collecting and emptying trash. Cleaning of the company fleet vehicles.

Requirements: The position requires a responsible person with ability to follow directions, pay attention to detail, and work independently. Must be at least 21 years of age. A High School diploma or G.E.D. is required, the ability to read, write, and communicate basic information in English.

Additional Requirements: The candidate must pass required Criminal Record History Clearance, FBI and Child Abuse History Clearance, as well as possess a valid PA driver's license and maintain a good driving record throughout employment. The candidate must pass a pre-employment Physical & Drug Screening ( THC included ) & possess the ability to attend and successfully complete all required trainings.
