We are actively seeking Extrusion Operators to join our team. If you are a Machine Operator looking for a new opportunity with a leading packaging company, ProAmpac is looking for you to join our team! Position: Slitter Operator (Night Shift: 8:00pm – 8:00am) In this role, you will operate a slitter machine in a safe manner and produce quality product with minimal scrap, meet production schedules, and keep your work area clean. Key Responsibilities Run equipment: operate the slitter machine to create film, perform light maintenance as needed, and communicate any major issues to supervisor or lead. Follow instructions: read, understand, and follow all work instructions to produce product that meets standards (production, scrap, and quality). Ensure compliance: maintain departmental compliance with certification requirements and good housekeeping practices in accordance with AIB/ISO standards; maintain quality of products at or above required specifications. Requirements Minimum 1-year manufacturing experience (highly preferred). Strong communication skills (written and verbal). Strong math, measurement, and attention to detail skills. Ability to work well in a team and as an independent contributor. Must be able to work overtime. Basic mechanical skills. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
