Idaho stretches from northern lakes to the Snake River Plain and the mountains of the central state. Boise gives allied travelers an urban medical setting, with imaging services also extending into smaller communities across southern Idaho. Around the capital, restaurants and the Boise River Greenbelt make the city an appealing base in its own right. Coeur d'Alene has a lakefront identity in the north, while Twin Falls sits beside the dramatic Snake River Canyon. Mountain towns add skiing, hot springs, and summer river recreation. Distances between these regions are substantial, so a stay in the Treasure Valley will feel different from one near the northern forests.
