The PRN PACU RN will provide high-quality care to patients recovering from surgical procedures in our multispecialty surgery center. This position offers flexibility with no weekend, holiday, or on-call requirements. Responsibilities Monitor patients post-operatively in the PACU, assessing vital signs, pain levels, and overall recovery. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure a smooth transition from the operating room to the recovery area. Educate patients and their families on post-operative care instructions and potential complications. Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients and staff in the PACU. Adhere to infection control protocols and regulatory standards.
