Automotive Detailer & Shop Assistant GA

Summary: Work with aspects of university travel including washing, cleaning, fueling, detailing, scheduling, and shop upkeep.

This GA position is available only to those pursuing post-graduate studies at Bob Jones University. Eligibility is based on the condition of having met the academic requirements for a student enrolled in a graduate program. To retain employment, you must be registered for and complete coursework for 6 to 10 credit hours each fall and spring semester as outlined in the handbook or obtain the necessary waiver.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work 30 hours weekly
• Clean and fuel university vehicles
• Work with vehicle cleaning chemicals
• Manage trip vehicle assignments

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

• Ability to drive a variety of vehicles
• Ability to work in a timely & flexible manner
• Ability to communicate clearly & politely and follow through
• Valid US drivers license and driving experience required

This 12-month Staff GA position is available to those pursuing post-graduate studies at Bob Jones University.
