About the Position

Our client is seeking a CDL A Driver for a local delivery position in Uxbridge, Massachusetts. This role involves delivering medical supplies along a consistent local route while performing light touch freight handling. Weekend scheduling options are available, and the position offers the potential to transition from temporary to permanent employment.

Pay & Schedule

Pay rate: $31 per hour
Estimated weekly gross: $600
Schedule: Saturday, Sunday, or Saturday and Sunday options available
Start times between midnight and 2:00 a.m.
Hours per week: 40
Employment type: Temp to Perm
Anticipated start date: August 11, 2026

Job Details

Route type: Local delivery
Freight: Medical supplies
Equipment: Push and pull carts and manual pallet jack
Handling: Light touch freight, including manually moving items weighing up to 100 pounds
Delivery locations include hospitals, nursing homes, and surgical facilities
Consistent routes within the Uxbridge area

Key Responsibilities

Operate a commercial vehicle safely and professionally on assigned local routes
Deliver medical supplies to hospitals, nursing homes, and surgical facilities
Move freight using push and pull carts and a manual pallet jack
Handle freight weighing up to 100 pounds
Maintain accurate and timely deliveries while providing professional customer service

Minimum Requirements

Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
1+ year of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
Must be at least 21 years old
Ability to perform physical freight-handling duties, including moving items weighing up to 100 pounds
