Product Manager

Position Overview

Seeking a Technical Product / Program Manager to oversee a portfolio of engineering and software applications. This role combines product ownership, vendor management, governance, budgeting, compliance, and strategic project leadership. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day operational activities while driving large-scale technology and process improvement initiatives across multiple business functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the operational performance and lifecycle of enterprise engineering and software applications.
• Lead governance, compliance, risk assessment, and audit-related activities.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, software renewals, cost optimization, and financial tracking.
• Manage software licensing, usage monitoring, access approvals, and vendor relationships.
• Partner with technical support teams to resolve application, infrastructure, and service issues.
• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, technical teams, and software vendors.
• Lead strategic initiatives including platform migrations, cloud adoption, system integrations, tool modernization, and process improvements.
• Drive reporting enhancements, automation opportunities, and operational efficiencies.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts involving Engineering, IT, Architecture, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Leadership teams.
• Support change management, user adoption, and organizational transformation initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, Technical Program Management, IT Business Management, Software Asset Management, or a related field.
• Experience managing enterprise software applications through operational support and strategic transformation initiatives.
• Proven expertise in vendor management, software licensing, contract renewals, and budget management.
• Experience with governance, compliance, risk management, audits, and process controls.
• Strong stakeholder management skills across business and technical organizations.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional projects and technology initiatives.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting engineering software ecosystems and application lifecycle management tools.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure and AWS.
• Experience with supplier risk management and software contract negotiations.
• Understanding of embedded software or engineering-focused technology environments.
• Experience in large enterprise organizations with matrixed teams and multiple stakeholders.
