MLR.org is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Clinical Pharmacist to join our client's healthcare team. As a Clinical Pharmacist, you'll play a crucial role in optimizing medication therapy, and working collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes.


Key Responsibilities:

• Review and manage patient medication plans, ensuring safe and effective use of pharmaceuticals.
• Provide expert advice to healthcare professionals on medication therapies, including dosing, side effects, and drug interactions.
• Counsel patients on proper medication use, potential side effects, and adherence strategies.
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare team members to optimize patient treatment plans.
• Conduct thorough medication reviews during patient admissions, transfers, and discharges to prevent errors.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards.
• Participate in initiatives aimed at improving medication safety and patient outcomes.

Pharmacist Qualifications:

• 1 or more years of Clinical Pharmacist experienceis required.
• PharmD or RPh from an accredited school.
• Current and valid license to practice.
• Understanding of DEA and FDA health regulations.
