Part-Time BartenderWallkill Golf Club, located in Middletown, NY, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Bartender. We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.Role Type: Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less) Pay: $16-$18 per hour General Purpose Makes and serves guests delicious beverages in accordance with established standards and with hospitality and professionalism. Creates memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions.Essential DutiesStock bar, mix and serve alcoholic beverages, assist in cost control, inventory, and maintain inventory recordsAssist department leaders with creation of seasonal cocktails and development of menuAssist department leaders with social media schedule and creation of contentMaintain inventory control through conscientious use and careful monitoring of all food and beverage products; communicate with management in a timely manner when supplies are neededEnsure compliance with applicable state liquor laws and standard operating procedures provided by managementCommunicate guest requests and concerns to the Department ManagerPerform opening and closing duties including inventory, cash control, cleaning, and restockingAccountable for checks and cash transactions; utilize Point of Sale systemReview banquet schedule for changes, calendar of events, and special eventsServe catered parties from service or portable barsOn occasion, serve meals to guestsIncorporate safe work practices in job performanceRegular and reliable attendancePerform other duties as requiredMinimum RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED; and one to three months of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experiencePreferred RequirementsExperience in restaurant point-of-sale systems (e.g. POSITOUCH and MICROS)Physical DemandsFrequently stands, walks, talks, hears, and uses hands. Regularly reaches with hands and arms. Occasionally climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crawls, crouches, tastes, smells, and sits.
