Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to recipes and menu specifications.
• Ensure all food safety and sanitation standards are met in the kitchen.
• Assist in menu planning and development, including catering options.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
• Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as needed.
• Help train new kitchen staff on cooking techniques and safety practices.
• Stay updated on culinary trends and techniques to enhance menu offerings.

Skills

• Proven experience as a Cook in the food industry, preferably in restaurants or catering services.
• Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members.
• Familiarity with various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Creativity in presenting dishes attractively for guests.
• A positive attitude and willingness to help others within the kitchen environment.
