Shift Supervisor

Responsibilities Safely, efficiently and accurately move product through the sterilization process by directing and coordinating the work performed by Operators and Certified Operators assigned to the shift. Follow documentation packet instructions accurately and completely. Move palletized product using a forklift. Train Operators and Certified Operators assigned to the shift; assist in training. Report damaged product, count discrepancies, non‑conformances, process or service deviations to the Process Supervisor or Operations Manager. Report system problems to the Maintenance Supervisor or Maintenance Technician. Replace designated mechanical components of the system and assist Maintenance as required. Store and remove from storage chemicals used in processing in accordance with established procedures and laws. Ensure that the product is processed and employee practices are in compliance with industry GMPs, OSHA and all applicable standards. Assist with other tasks as assigned by the Process Supervisor, Operations Manager or General Manager. Supervise work of others: assign work, coach, may assign overtime and may participate in interviews. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. 1 to 1.5 years of experience in a leadership role and/or sterilization environment preferred. Must be able to read, write and speak fluent English. Must be willing to work established shifts. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds and perform repetitive bending and lifting motions over a period of time. Must be a certified Operator. Must be medically approved for respirator use (EO). Must be able to tolerate exposure to high temperatures and high humidity (120°F and 60% RH for 20 minutes) (EO). Pay Payrate: $46,000–$72,000 annually, depending on experience, compensated on an hourly basis.
