Pathologists' Assistant / Pathology Technician

San Francisco, CA

Mid Shift: 2:00 PM–10:30 PM

Join a leading Northern California healthcare organization and play a critical role in supporting patient diagnosis and care through surgical pathology, specimen processing, and laboratory operations.

• Perform gross examination and dissection of pathology specimens
• Assist with frozen sections and intraoperative consultations
• Support autopsy and post-mortem examinations
• Process, accession, and maintain pathology specimens
• Ensure accurate documentation and quality control
• Troubleshoot laboratory issues and support compliance activities

✔ Minimum 2 years of Pathologists' Assistant or Pathology Technician experience

✔ Experience with grossing surgical pathology specimens

✔ Knowledge of laboratory quality standards and specimen processing

✔ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

✔ Hospital or large laboratory experience preferred

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of San Francisco, CA.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
