Registered Nurse - Night Shift - Full-Time

Location: Holyoke, MA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night Shift (11 PM - 7:30 AM) - Includes every other weekend and every other holiday.

Job Description: The Registered Nurse (RN) is an active member of the healthcare team, providing direct and indirect care to patients, families, and legal guardians. The RN is responsible for maintaining a safe therapeutic milieu and works collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary treatment team to develop, implement, and document individual treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care.
• Maintain a safe therapeutic environment.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Document patient goals and interventions based on strengths and psychiatric needs.
• Float to similar or lower acuity units as needed.
• Take charge as required.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• State of Massachusetts RN license required; BSN preferred.
• One year of inpatient psychiatric experience required.
• CPR certification required.
• Experience in restraint reduction, de-escalation, and crisis intervention preferred.
