Learn more about the Next Generation Interceptor (NGI) using this link Duties and responsibilities may include, but are limited to the following:• Lead and coordinate with a complex, multidisciplinary team of engineers, which includes but is not limited to representation from Aero, Thermal, Separation Dynamics, Loads, Stress, Trajectory Design, NG&C, FSW, Mechanical Design, Mechanical Integration, Initiation, Instrumentation/Telemetry, TPS, and Ground Test• Conduct regular working meetings, maintain a schedule, and track action item closure• Support major program reviews including SRR, PDR, and CDR• Establish proper configuration and version control during rapid modeling revisions• Ensure sufficient analytical predictions are issued ahead of flight test to support the immediate post-flight analyses, post-flight model correlation, and eventual model validation as allowed by the flight test data• Orchestrate trade studies to inform changes to hardware configuration and design as well as mission architecture in order to improve robustness and reliability.• Support the identification, derivation, verification and validation of requirements • Specification and Interface Control Document development• Identify, maintain, and mitigate risks associated with the AUR development• Coordinate and conduct frequent Customer and Sr. Leadership briefings, as requiredYou may also support missile system analyses in support of mission planning and execution as well as tests at various test ranges.
