RN - Labor and Delivery (L&D)Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Unit: LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) Cost Center: 660 Start: Must start on 9/14/26 NOT BEFORE Length of Assignment: 13 weeksUnit Information:Number of Beds: 7Number of Staff: 4 night nurses on staff currentlyShift for the Traveler: Night ShiftPatient Ratios: 1:3 variable by census and acuityType of equipment: GE fetal monitors, Panda warmers, IUPC, Kiwi vac., Koala IUPC EMR Epic and CPN connectOn Call Requirements: 2 shifts on call per four-week scheduleWeekend Requirements: 2 weekends, but variable depending on staffingTypical hiring profile:Skill Set: Must have OR circulator experience Must have Labor and delivery experiencePreferred or nice to have: Perform SVE and place IUPC and FSE Be stork nurse and transition baby at deliveryList typical procedures performed on unit(s): Induction, C-Section, Vaginal delivery, D&C, cerclage, versions and bilateral tubal ligation Triage, NST, OB injections, OP infusions, IUFD careBest personality fit: Flexible, Cheerful, Positive, team player, quick learner, accountable, adaptable, mentorRequired Certifications: AWHONN intermediate Fetal Monitoring or NCC-EFM certification, NRP, ACLS, BLSFloating Area(s): If needed would float to Mom-Baby unitDress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Hospital provided royal blue scrubs (would change in the facility)Unit Guidelines/Policies: No elective pre 39 week deliveries, Pitocin Protocol, HTN and PP hemorrhage protocols, malignant hyperthermia protocols Weekends and On callAny additional information: Level II NICU with onsite pediatric hospitalistsClient Details:Address: 2801 Debarr RdCity: AnchorageState: AKZip Code: 99508
