Assignment Overview

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Tech to join our healthcare team, specializing in acute care settings with a focus on trauma cases. The ideal candidate should have experience in high acuity environments, particularly in a teaching facility, and be comfortable handling a diverse patient population from various departments such as the ED, ICUs, and more.

Assignment Details

• Shift Details: 3x12 Days
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Estimated gross weekly pay package: $2025 (negotiable)
• Call Requirement: None
• Holiday Expectations: Work if on normal scheduled day

Responsibilities

• Perform general X-ray imaging, including head, neck, spine, extremities, abdomen, hands, feet, and chest
• Operate C-arm and O-arm equipment
• Work with trauma and surgical cases in OR settings, including spinal, ortho, general surgery, neuro, and pediatrics
• Utilize portable X-ray machines at bedside
• Provide support and teamwork in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Required:

• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
• Experience in Level I, II, or III trauma facilities
• BLS Certification
• ARRT-R Certification
• Experience with EPIC EMR systems
• Proficiency in operating C-arm and O-arm equipment

Preferred:

• Strong communication skills
• Experience in precepting X-ray students
