One North Nurse Director

The One North Nurse Director has 24-hour/7 day per week responsibility for all patient care activities in their department. We are looking for an engaged servant leader who will not stop until patient experience is a 10 out of 10. This Director not only performs in relation to recognized standards but he/she functions as a primary public relations representative for the department and staff in building rapport with our incredible medical staff patients and families under his/her care or supervision. The candidate must have a strong quality background and sound fiscal experience. A broad knowledge of legal aspects with nursing along with regulatory requirements is a must. This position has full access to patient health information.

Requirements:

• Dynamic leadership skills
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in North Carolina
• BSN required and MSN preferred
• BLS from American Red Cross or American Heart Association required
• Management experience in a community or critical access hospital is preferred
• Related clinical experience is required for area of responsibility
• Problem solving and leadership abilities
• Great interpersonal skills and engagement techniques
• Must possess full range of body motion to pass a basic FIT test to include bending stooping standing and sitting for extended periods of time
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
