Up to $24.00-$28.00/hr | Full Time | 8am - 4pm | On-Call Rotation | Occasional Weekends and Holidays

The Skilled Maintenance Worker is responsible for providing specific routine, preventive and corrective maintenance of community grounds and property to maintain a safe environment for residents, staff and visitors while providing cost effective maintenance programs.

*Experience in appliance and plumbing*

Qualifications:

• Valid Driver's License required
• High School diploma or equivalent required
• Two years of general maintenance experience preferred
• Experience or training as electrician preferred
• Experience in appliance repair preferred
• Experience or training in plumbing, painting and carpentry preferred

Expectations and Responsibilities:

• Repairs and maintains physical structure and systems of community.
• Maintains community grounds; may include lawn mowing, trimming, snow removal.
• Completes all assigned maintenance work orders.
• Repairs and maintains electrical and utility systems.
• Performs preventative maintenance.
• Maintains safety systems, such as: fire alarms, nurse call systems, security).
• Able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Effectively read and interpret documents and instructions.
• Capacity to effectively troubleshoot and problem solve.
