Sr. Accountant

Senior AccountantSAS Builders, Inc. is growing and seeks a motivated full-time Senior Accountant to join our Accounting Department.This exciting opportunity will encompass a variety of duties key to the functions of the Accounting Department, including:Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy and completeness for submission to ControllerPrepare account reconciliations (receivables, notes payable, intercompany)Monthly update of corporate debt sheet across multiple entities.Assist in preparing and monitoring budgets and forecasts.Assist with cash flow forecastingHUD application and audits assistanceAssist management and project managers with project cost inquiries and reports.Assess current practices, procedures and make recommendations for improvementsCompilation of Year End financial reports for income taxesCompile, analyze and submit monthly construction draw requests to multiple financial institutions.Attend internal development project meetings as necessaryMonthly invoicing to single family home construction contracts.Support request from bank institutionsProcess and submission of annual 1099'sCompletion of annual workers compensation auditOther duties as assigned.Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field. (Additionally, five years relative experience is preferred.)
