Job Location
We are seeking a physician to become part of a dedicated team of over 750 professionals, located in Indianapolis, Indiana, specifically at Community Hospital South. The Indianapolis area offers a delightful mix of urban conveniences, a sophisticated atmosphere, and neighborhoods with outstanding school systems, consistently ranking among the top places to live in the nation. Indiana is also recognized as one of the top five states that are friendly to physicians.
Highlights
Our organization is expanding its Nocturnist team, aiming to have two physicians on-site overnight, supported by Advanced Practice Providers (APPs).
- 7-on-14-off schedule; 17 weeks of night shifts annually
- Continuous in-house Hospitalist coverage available
- Access to subspecialty support
- Assistance from APPs
Licensure & Certification
- Certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine is required
- An Indiana medical license is necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Embrace a multidisciplinary approach to patient care
- Comfortable managing ICU coverage and performing procedures
- Strong communication skills to promote teamwork among all care providers
- Ability to build and sustain relationships with referring physicians
