Warehouse Associate

HKA is seeking dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Associates to join a fast-paced distribution operation in Easton, PA. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with warehouse and material handling equipment experience who are looking for steady hours, competitive pay, paid holidays, and the potential to convert to a permanent position based on performance and attendance.

$20.00 per hour

Monday through Friday schedule

Consistent first-shift hours

Overtime opportunities available

Shift: 6:00 AM 2:30 PM

Paid Breaks:

8:00 AM 15 minutes

10:00 AM 15 minutes

Lunch: 12:00 PM 12:30 PM

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a key role in supporting daily warehouse operations and ensuring products are received, stored, and shipped accurately and efficiently. Responsibilities include:

  • Operating material handling equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet riders, order pickers, and pallet jacks
  • Picking, packing, sorting, and storing inventory
  • Scanning products using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
  • Receiving and verifying incoming shipments
  • Performing inventory movements and product put-away
  • Preparing outbound shipments and packaging products to prevent damage
  • Identifying and reporting inventory discrepancies
  • Using warehouse equipment such as tape guns, pneumatic staple guns, and battery-powered carts
  • Following all safety, quality, and operational procedures

Required:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Previous warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience
  • Experience operating material handling equipment (MHE)
  • Ability to use computers and RF scanning equipment
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • Strong communication skills and ability to follow instructions
  • Ability to wear steel-toe footwear
  • Ability to work in a physically active warehouse environment

Preferred:

  • Experience in an OEM or distribution center environment
  • Experience using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Knowledge of warehouse best practices and quality processes

This position requires frequent:

  • Standing and walking throughout the shift
  • Lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling materials up to 50 pounds
  • Reaching, bending, kneeling, squatting, twisting, and climbing
  • Working in varying temperatures and warehouse noise levels
