Physical Therapist

Physical TherapistThe Physical Therapist will work as a member of the healthcare team at Metropolitan Health Group to evaluate and treat patients with musculoskeletal, and neurological conditions. This position requires a thorough understanding of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology, as well as experience with a variety of therapeutic interventions and equipment.Key Responsibilities:Conduct initial evaluations and ongoing assessments of patients to determine appropriate treatment plans and goals.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patients' needs, goals, and functional abilities.Use a variety of therapeutic interventions and equipment to help patients improve mobility, strength, balance, coordination, and range of motion.Instruct patients and their families on exercise programs, home exercise programs, and self-care techniques to optimize recovery and prevent re-injury.Monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to achieve optimal outcomes.Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to coordinate care and ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with professional standards and regulatory requirements.Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to maintain and improve clinical skills and knowledge.Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards of practice.Qualifications:Bachelor's or master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.Current state license to practice Physical Therapy.Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology, as well as a variety of therapeutic interventions and equipment.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities effectively.Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in a healthcare environment.
