Location / Schedule Direct Support Professional positions are located in Manchester, NJ. Schedule: second and third shift positions available. Salary Starting at $20.42 and increases with education and experience. Benefits Time off benefits starting on day one Excellent health benefits effective 30 days after employment Tuition and student loan assistance Growth and training development Collaborative working environment with multidisciplinary team Opportunity to engage with an organization that values servant leadership principles, allowing staff to be their authentic selves at work Responsibilities Ensure individuals are safe and healthy while attending the day program Supervise, coach, and assist individuals in achieving goals for daily living skills such as food preparation, cooking, cleaning, and shopping Supervise the planning, implementation, and documentation of programs designed to meet social, emotional, physical, and personal needs Plan and participate in community‑based jobs, volunteer opportunities, and outings Schedule and transport individuals to and from day program Qualifications Minimum of a high school diploma or GED Valid non‑provisional driver’s license Age at least 18 years Ability to attend ten days of paid onsite orientation on weekdays Empathetic and team‑oriented approach to care for individuals Company Overview Devereux is one of the nation’s largest nonprofit organizations, founded in 1912, providing services, insight, and leadership in the evolving field of behavioral healthcare.
