Travel Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – CVOR | Days | Florida

We are seeking an experienced Certified Surgical Technologist specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) procedures for a 13-week travel assignment in Florida. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with strong open-heart surgery experience who can thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment.

Position Details:

• Specialty: CVOR Surgical Technologist
• Shift: Days
• Schedule: 6:45 AM – 3:15 PM
• Duration: 13 Weeks

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Minimally Invasive Cardiac Procedures
• Previous Travel Experience
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and workflows

Common Procedures:

• Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG)
• Mitral Valve Repair/Replacement
• Aortic Valve Repair/Replacement
• Pacemaker Procedures
• Laser Lead Extractions
• Endovascular Procedures
• TAVR and Mitral Clip Support Cases

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain sterile fields during surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons before, during, and after cardiovascular surgeries
• Ensure proper handling of surgical instruments and supplies
• Anticipate surgeon needs throughout procedures
• Maintain patient safety and adhere to accepted surgical standards of care

• Current BLS Certification
• Minimum 2 Years of Recent Acute Care CVOR Experience
• Strong Open Heart Surgery Experience
• Ability to Scrub and Assist in Complex Cardiovascular Procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
