Stationary Engineer -3rd shift

Stationary Engineer / Boiler Operator / Utilities Technician Greenfield, Indiana | 3rd shift, 7 days on, 7 days off Job Responsibilities Performs and helps facilitate the completion of preventative and corrective maintenance for all power plant equipment. Coordinates all utility operations while on shift. Operates, repairs, troubleshoots, and maintains systems and equipment such as boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air compressors, pumps, and deionized water production trains. Utilizes the Utility Monitoring System to monitor, control, and trend performance of plant equipment. Completes preventive and corrective maintenance work orders. Provides back‑up assistance for Wastewater Treatment Plant operations. Performs water chemistry laboratory analysis on plant systems and maintains chemical parameters. Investigates and assists with abnormal facility conditions as needed after hours. Follows all SOPs and maintains a safe working environment. Interacts professionally with facility staff as well as customers. Assist Utilities Supervisor. May work with potentially hazardous substances. Climbs ladders and works in confined spaces as necessary. Exposed to greases, oils, solvents, additives, and live steam. Relocation assistance available. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or GED equivalent; trade school or college education preferred but not required. 3+ years of experience in power plant, chilled water plant, or utility operations. Preferred Qualifications Boiler Operator certification preferred but not required. 1+ year of experience operating chillers preferred but not required. HVAC or chiller experience helpful but not required. 1+ year of monitoring, testing, and adjusting chemical inputs for boiler water feed preferred.
