Overview Mental Health Therapist, 1099 - North Carolina, Raleigh/Durham Area. Octave is hiring Licensed Clinicians to provide high-quality behavioral health care to clients, in a collaborative, client-centered environment. Clinicians will treat adult clients with stress, depression, anxiety, or other mental health concerns via video, using short-term, evidence-based therapies. Licensure in North Carolina at the master’s or doctoral level is required, with expertise in evidence-based therapies and delivery of culturally responsive care. Responsibilities Provide therapy to adult clients via video, using short-term, evidence-based modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT) as appropriate. Collaborate with a diverse clinical team to deliver high-quality care and tailor treatment plans to individual clients. Build and maintain a strong therapeutic alliance and utilize feedback-informed care with standardized measures. Deliver in-person and remote services; maintain an office space to conduct in-person sessions as required, with the option for clients to choose virtual or in-person visits. Adapt practice to Octave’s service delivery model, including culturally responsive care. Qualifications LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, PsyD; current North Carolina license in good standing. Master’s Degree or higher from an accredited school of Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or related field. Preferred 1 year of post-licensure clinical experience; at least 2 years preferred in one or more of: CBT for depression/anxiety, DBT for emotion dysregulation, Unified Protocol for emotional distress, CPT or PE for trauma. Must have own office space for in-person services in the CITY area; in-person services may be provided from a home office or commercial space. Office space within North Carolina provided by Octave is not available at this time. Compensation Starting pay is determined by licensure and other factors. Hourly compensation ranges: In-Person: $88-$110/hour (master’s level); $103-$123/hour (doctoral level). Virtual: $85-$115/hour (master’s level); $100-$120/hour (doctoral level). Physical & System Requirements Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and using a computer; ability to work with virtual meeting tools (Zoom/Google Meet). Must be able to observe and communicate information via laptop; ability to lift up to 10 pounds occasionally. Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. Octave policy requires that all clinical sessions be conducted while physically located in the United States. System requirements for Octave telehealth tools: Mac OS (Ventura or later), Windows OS (10/11); up-to-date security patches; unmanaged device; iOS/Android/ChromeOS not supported as primary devices.
