Job Summary:
Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) Springfield, Illinois. The organization is seeking a Cath Lab RN to support diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures in an acute care setting that includes a Level I trauma center designation. The role requires clinical expertise in cardiac catheterization and procedural sedation monitoring, along with Cerner Electronic Medical Record (EMR) proficiency. Candidates are required to bring their license on the first day.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days; 4x12 or 3x12 shifts (06301900); minimum 48.0 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Minimum 1 year experience required; active Illinois (IL) RN license; Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); experience with diagnostic/interventional cardiac cath lab procedures including diagnostic catheterizations (adult), interventional catheterizations, left heart catheterization, pulmonary artery line/Swan Ganz monitoring, right heart catheterization; Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring; interpretation/management of dysrhythmias and monitoring procedural sedation; Cerner EMR experience
• Preferred Qualifications: None listed
• Float: Float may be required to meet facility needs
• Additional Information: On-call coverage is required as needed. Weekend coverage is required for 23 weekends per contract. Candidate must work 2 out of 3 major holidays. First-time travelers are accepted.
