Manufacturing Future Workforce - Senior ManagerCompany:The Boeing CompanyBoeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking a Manufacturing Future Workforce - Senior Manager to join the team in Renton, WA. The rolewill also require moderate travel to academic partners and other Boeing sites both in and out of state.As Manager for Future Workforce, you will drive the continued development and execution of a comprehensive BCA Future Workforce manufacturing talent pipeline strategy across Washington, South Carolina, Montana and Kansas. You will support a team of employees in a fast-paced, high impact and ever-changing environment. This includes, but is not limited to partnerships with academic institutions, industry employers, workforce development organizations, third-party liaison organizations, levers for course alignment to internal job requirements, and pipeline specific hiring pathways. In this role, you will be critical in providing daily direction, integrating plans and making strategic recommendations based on Human Resources and manufacturing business priorities and environment. Effective relationship building, business acumen and professional communication skills are essential to develop effective, lasting and collaborative relationships with employees, managers, leaders, peers, partners, external stakeholders and direct reports.A successful candidate will operate through ambiguity, adapt quickly to changing environments.Position Responsibilities:Manage, lead, coach, ecosystem, both internally and externally, driving to clear Return on Investment (ROI), metrics and expected outcomesDrive the continued development and execution at scale of a comprehensive Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) Future Workforce manufacturing talent pipeline strategy across Washington, South Carolina, Montana and Kansas by partnering with academic institutions, industry employers, workforce development organizations and third-party liaison organizationsPartner with site leadership teams and local skill teams to understand critical manufacturing job roles and have clear line of sight of staffing requirements to meet business goalsAlign resources and manage budgets to ensure delivery of requirements efficiently and cost effectivelyCollaborate with functional peers across BCA and Enterprise to share and adopt, when appropriate, best practicesDrive continuous improvement activities, integrating and partnering with internal functions, such as Operations, Human Resources, Global Talent Acquisitions, Boeing Global Engagement, State and Local Government Operations, Communications, IAM/Joint Programs, Employee Engagement, Labor Relations, etc.Be the expert for manufacturing talent pipelines, including coordinating with external entities around multi-faceted awareness campaigns for manufacturing career paths, internship development and deployment, as well as coordinating with legislative policyRepresent Boeing through public speaking in both academic and government forumsInterface to Communities of Excellence (COEs) while enabling priority application pathways and alignment to graduation dates across BCA ManufacturingDevelop and execute integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectivesAcquire resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvementsLead complex operations and cross-functional teamsInfluence teams to exhibit Boeing Values and BehaviorsBasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):5+ years of experience leading teams either formally or informally in an a HR role5+ years of experience leading or managing projects that involved cross-functional or cross-business unit teams5+ years of experience creating and developing strategy plans and/or executing strategies and managing projects5+ years of experience in a role which required strong interpersonal and communication skills5+ years of experience in influencing and building strong relationships with stakeholders and senior leaders across functions and/or programs5+ years of experience partnering with leadership to design and implement workforce strategies to meet organization objectivesPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s Degree or Higher5+ years of experience communicating and implementing HR programs, policies, practices and processes5+ years of experience in workforce development or a related field at scale3+ years of experience in leading change management and process improvement activities at a business unit or enterprise levelPrior experience in or around trades and/or manufacturing hands-on skill buildingComfortable speaking at public events in both government and academic forumsExperience interacting with students (ex: high school and college age)Understanding of effective teamwork dynamics in order to attain higher levels of performanceExperience in building and maintaining relationships and partnerships (ex: cross functional, cross
