Part Time Physical TherapistNevada Community Enrichment Program (NCEP), a program of Accessible Space, Inc., is a nationally recognized, CARF-accredited neuro-rehabilitation center specializing in the treatment of brain injuries in adults, adolescents, and children. Our comprehensive, interdisciplinary approach offers cutting-edge treatment in a highly clinical, fast-paced, and rewarding environment.At NCEP, our team of expert clinicians, many of whom are Certified Brain Injury Specialists (CBIS), work together to achieve extraordinary outcomes. Our patients engage in therapy five days per week for six hours per day, receiving intensive services that foster remarkable recoveries. In addition to our residential post-acute program, we have a brand-new state-of-the-art Concussion Clinic, where patients receive individualized treatment for up to three hours per day. We offer a very competitive salary and great benefits, including employer sponsored health/dental/life insurance, PTO, group retirement plan, education assistance, and more!We are seeking a Part Time Physical Therapist to provide physical therapy evaluations and set up the therapeutic treatment plans.Physical Therapist Benefits:up to 3 weeks paid time off your first year$50.00 - $53.00 hour DOQAfternoon scheduleDaily payHoliday payLife insuranceEmployee assistance programWellness rebate and Education reimbursementRetirement savings plan (403b)Physical Therapist Qualifications :Degree from an accredited school of physical therapy.Possession of a current valid license to practice physical therapy in the State of Nevada (if licensure has not yet been obtained, proof of eligibility for licensure as the time of appointment and thereafter)Minimum of five years of experience working with individuals with disabilities.Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work well with a diverse range of individuals.One year experience with traumatically brain injured, neurologically involved and and/or severely disabled populations strongly preferred.Physical Therapist Responsibilities:Evaluate clients through testing full body range of motion, tone, motor control, muscle strength, sensation, coordination, oral-bulbar status, respiratory function, and general neurologic status.Serve as a cooperative member of the interdisciplinary clinical teamProvide direct client care utilizing physical therapy techniquesPrepare, maintain and transmit accurate recordsInstruct family and client in any home programs that are appropriateConfer with physicians, therapists of other disciplines
