Overview The HVAC Estimator plays a key role in developing accurate and competitive pricing by reviewing project specifications, coordinating with subcontractors and suppliers, and generating detailed estimates and proposals. Responsibilities Review specifications and drawings Solicit pricing from subcontractors and equipment suppliers and follow up to obtain written quotes Attend preconstruction site visits when applicable Assist with detailed estimates and proposals Provide clear documentation on estimates and proposals Provide accurate estimates and proposals Partner closely with sales, operations, and engineering teams to assist with the best solutions and pricing Assist with selection of contractors Participate in monthly project review meetings Qualifications High School Diploma or GED 3+ years of sales and/or HVAC experience Strong written and oral communication skills, organization, and time management Physical Demands Frequent sitting and computer use Occasional standing, walking, and reaching Ability to lift or move up to 25 pounds occasionally Specific vision abilities such as close vision and ability to adjust focus Ability to climb ladders and stairs and navigate job sites to survey equipment Work may involve performing duties outdoors in various weather conditions and exposure to dust, dirt, allergens, or refrigerants Safety and Work Environment This position works in a typical office environment with moderate noise levels.
