Sunny Valley Psychotherapy Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our dynamic team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position, allowing you to provide essential mental health services to our clients from the comfort of your home while also being part of an outpatient office setting in Erie, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping individuals, couples, and families navigate their emotional and relational challenges.

Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for various client populations. \n
- Provide high-quality psychotherapy services in both English and Spanish, ensuring culturally appropriate interventions. \n
- Utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), or Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to guide therapy sessions. \n
- Facilitate group therapy sessions and workshops focused on resilience, coping skills, and personal development. \n
- Regularly monitor and document client progress in Electronic Health Record (EHR) software, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. \n
- Engage in regular supervision and team meetings to discuss case management and treatment effectiveness. \n
- Maintain a flexible schedule, including availability for at least two evenings per week and one weekend day to accommodate client needs. \n
You will work primarily with children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and relationship challenges. Understanding the diverse cultural backgrounds and individual needs of your clients will be essential to providing effective therapy and building trust.
Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Studies, or a related field from an accredited institution. \n
- An active, unrestricted LMFT license, allowing you to practice in Pennsylvania. \n
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on bilingual service delivery (English and Spanish). \n
- At least two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating proficiency in working with diverse populations. \n
- A deep respect for cultural differences and a commitment to providing individualized care. \n
- Trained in evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as CBT, TF-CBT, or EMDR. \n
- A strong motivation for continued professional development and a willingness to engage in self-reflection and growth. \n
- The ability to effectively utilize relevant software, including EHR systems and Microsoft Office. \n
- A valid driver’s license and car insurance, enhancing your ability to participate in in-person sessions when needed. \n

- Specialization in areas such as trauma recovery, LGBTQ+ issues, grief and loss, or perinatal mental health. \n
- A proven track record of establishing rapport with clients from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds. \n
- Experience providing therapy through telehealth platforms in a HIPAA-compliant manner. \n
The salary range for this position is highly competitive, between USD 70,000 and 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
