Sales Associate Position 

In the cashier/ sales associate position, you will be working on the sales floor directly with the customers. You will be assisting customers with their needs and assisting in solving their problems. Operating a point of sale is a critical part of your position. You will be working with our manager and will be expected to fulfill our mission and achieve our priorities and goals. Outside of working with our customers you will be expected to help stock products, clean and maintain the organization of the store. Being knowledgeable about the products we sell is an important part of the job. We will train you one on one as well as through online training in all departments and aspects of the store. There are many different services that we offer, and we will train you so you can better assist the customers and help solve their problems.

• Operating a point of sales system  
• Stocking shelves 
• Cleaning the store and organizing products
• Learning and offering product knowledge
• Assisting in the operations and goals of the store

·        Glass cutting 
·        Shade cutting
·        Assembling products

• Driving and delivering products 
• Assisting in opening and closing procedures

• Carry up to 70lb
• Knowledge of hardware is a plus but not imperative 
• Desire to learn

Daily Duties 

·        Arrive on the sales floor ready to work at your scheduled time
·        Collect a radio at the paint counter and announce your arrival to the team
·        Review the daily task sheet 
·        Check in with your manager 
·        Assist the customers and perform your assigned duties
·        Assist in finding solutions to customers problems
·        Walk the store daily to see any changes and new products
·        Communicate effectively with your team as needed
·        Before leaving for the day check in with your manager 
·        Announce when you are leaving for the day to your team
