CVOR Certified Surgical Technician
This is a 13-week contract position.
Day shift: 4x10-hour schedule from 07:00 to 17:30.
The CVOR Certified Surgical Technician will support surgical procedures in a cardiovascular operating room setting. The role demands proficiency in scrubbing open heart and vascular surgeries including wired vascular cases.
Responsibilities:
- Assist during surgeries by preparing instruments and ensuring all necessary equipment is available.
- Scrub and maintain a sterile field during operations.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to facilitate optimal patient outcomes.
- Participate in on-call coverage as required for weekday and weekend shifts.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent surgical technician experience; CVOR experience preferred.
- Current AHA BLS certification required.
- Must hold a Permanent Ohio license or a compact license at the time of submission.
- One reference from a supervisor or manager in the specialty is required.
