SHEQ Manager - Chemical Manufacturing

The Judge Group is seeking a EHS & Quality Manager for a manufacturing company located in the Starkville, MS area.

Title: EHS & Quality Manager

Location: Starkville, MS area

Salary: $135,000-$155,000 plus bonus

Responsibilities:

• Lead site SHEQ team and oversee departmental budget

• Drive safety culture and accountability across operations

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and company SHEQ standards

• Implement occupational health and industrial hygiene programs

• Manage audits, corrective actions, and continuous improvement efforts

• Lead incident investigations and enforce corrective measures

• Coordinate emergency response and crisis readiness activities

• Engage with external stakeholders and regulatory bodies

• Coach and develop staff while promoting company core values

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s in EHS, Engineering, or related field

• 5–10+ years of SHEQ experience in manufacturing/industrial settings

• Certifications (CSP, CIH, NEBOSH, ISO) preferred

• Strong knowledge of OSHA, environmental regulations, and ISO standards

• Experience with audits, risk assessments, and incident analysis

• Proven leadership, communication, and team development skills

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and drive results
